Hybrid IRT Circuit of the Americas – March 2023 – Classic Sub 1800 by Age Ranges

The tournament is closed and will be valid for the Classic FIDE Elo. It will take place on Saturday 11 and sunday 12 March of the current year.

• Colombia Headquarters: Local of the Peón Aislado Club in Medellín.

** New FIDE IDs will not be managed in this tournament. **

Competition system.

• It will be played under the Swiss system 7 rounds.
• The pace of play will be 30 minutes per player plus increase in 30 seconds from the first movement (Classic Rhythm).
• The waiting tolerance will be 30 minutes.

Categories.

AGE RANGES

• Sub 16: Born in the years 2007-2008
• Sub 14: Born in the years 2009-2010
• Sub 12: Born in the years 2011-2012
• Sub 10: Born in the years 2013-2016
• Open: Any player with an Elo lower than 1800

Each athlete is guaranteed the conditions for the optimal development of their activity.:

• Accreditation and Certification by the Tournament authorities.
• Elo Report, Classic or Standard Mode.
• An electronic device prepared for competition or its replacement in case of failure.
• Auxiliary Board to reproduce your movements.
• Access to rest areas, analysis and preparation.
• Free access to hydration and snacks between games.
• Main feeding during breaks and intermissions.
